Job Description:

Sweet Water Decor is seeking a Customer Experience and Office Assistant to continue providing above and beyond service to the customers and fans of Sweet Water Decor, in addition to providing assistance and support to Sweet Water Decor’s office team.

Job Responsibilities Include (not limited to):

  • Responsible for responding to customer messages on all retail platforms, including but not limited to our direct Sweet Water Decor website (Zendesk), Etsy, and Amazon.
  • Owns customer experience procedures, including order returns and replacements.
  • Documents order issues, including damages, order mistakes, and product defects.
  • Processes claims for order damages to mail carriers and wrong items returned through Amazon.
  • Monitors product reviews through all retail platforms.
  • Keeps track of orders that cannot ship due to sold out stock, and communicates with customers.
  • Collaborates with the shipping team to adjust orders as needed based on customer requests.
  • Communicates with products team to provide customer feedback.
  • Creates lists of potential wholesale customers through online research.
  • Assists in bulk photo and text updates to online product listings.
  • Organizes office supplies.
  • Provides support to office team members through task assistance on a priority basis.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:

  • 2+ customer service and administrative assistance experience preferred.
  • Solid computer skills.
  • Comfortable spending the majority of work hours on a computer.
  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal skills.
  • Positive attitude and demeanor.
  • Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment.
  • Able and comfortable to learn new software and websites to complete tasks.
  • Highly organized with the ability to multi-task, manage, and prioritize work.
  • Thinks above and beyond to better SWD’s customer experience.
  • E-commerce customer service experience preferred.

Job Description:

Sweet Water Decor is a growing online retailer seeking an excellent Marketing Specialist. You will be responsible for coordinating with other marketing and team members to implement innovative email and SMS marketing campaigns for branding or product launches.

You play an essential role in strategizing, conducting market research, and analyzing marketing initiatives to bring them to life! From running our email campaigns to ensuring our ads are top notch, you'll have a key role in the marketing of our company. You’ll keep an eye on market trends, Google analytics, and create advertising campaigns, plan out email / SMS / ad marketing campaigns, work closely with our social media specialist, and more! You will be an integral part of the development and execution of marketing plans to reach targets from brand awareness to product promotion.

​​Job Responsibilities Include (not limited to):

  • Create and execute email/SMS marketing campaigns to reach the target audience through appropriate channels 
  • Creating / analyzing / implementing ads on Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, Etsy, Google, LTK, and more
  • Using key analysis to create and optimize marketing strategies based on analysis of previous campaigns, new initiatives, and market/competitor analysis
  • Analyzing and reporting on customer data (campaign results, conversion rates, traffic etc.) to help shape future marketing strategies
  • Working with the Marketing & Brand Manager to develop and manage the content calendar, ensuring a consistent flow of high-quality content that aligns with our brand and marketing objectives
  • Plan and execute initiatives to reach the target audience through appropriate channels (emails, sms, and/or ads)
  • Analyze, report on, and implement and regularly manage digital advertising, pay-per-click, paid media, and retargeting campaigns, i.e. Google Ads, Amazon Ads, Meta Ads, Etsy, etc.
  • Scale campaigns to maximize ROI and retail sales
  • Conducting market research and keeping on trend, knowing who our customer is and how to best serve them and where / how
  • Assisting in outbound or inbound marketing activities by demonstrating expertise in various areas (content development and optimization, advertising, events planning etc.)
  • Collaborate with marketing and other professionals to coordinate brand awareness and marketing efforts
  • Undertake individual tasks of a marketing plan as assigned or as strengths show (SEO, copywriting, photography / videography, etc.)
  • Continuous monitoring of email, SMS, and ad compliance—compliances change constantly, so we need to stay up to date with information and make sure we’re aware and compliant. 

QUALIFICATIONS

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Communication, or related field
  • 3+ years experience in business marketing and digital advertising management
  • Experience in creating content in Canva
  • History of executing email marketing campaigns
  • Facebook ad & TikTok ad experience a plus
  • Proven experience as marketing specialist or similar role
  • Strong ability to work independently and with other team members / cross functionally
  • Ability to learn on the fly and continuously improving skills and knowledge
  • Strong ability to learn quickly while having a self-starter mindset
  • Thorough understanding of marketing elements (including traditional and digital marketing such as SEO/Email metrics/Advertising metrics etc.) and market research methods
  • Able to grasp consumer behavior trends and generate creative ideas
  • Well-versed in specialized marketing concepts, principles and tactics
  • Solid computer and analysis skills, including use of Google Docs / Sheets / Affiliate Marketing Programs / Marketing programs + applications (Google Analytics, Google Ads, ShareASale, Monday, Klaviyo, etc.)
  • Well-organized and detail-oriented
  • Exceptional communication and writing skills
  • Commercial awareness partnered with a creative mind
